Overview

Detective Awesomepants was made for Ludum Dare 27, a game jam event that gives participants 48 hours to make a game based off a theme. The theme for this jam was ‘10 Seconds’. I designed a crime solving game where the player is given only 10 seconds to survey the scene and then must come to a decision about who did it.

Out of over 2000 submissions my game placed in the following rankings:

My Role

Concepted and designed the game
Created 5 unique cases for for the player to solve
Programmed the game in AS3 using the Flash Builder IDE
Created all art inside Pyxel Edit
Animated backgrounds and other elements in Flash
Generated SFX using SFXr
Generated Music using Autotracker
